Scholarship Eligibility
A member of GLBC who is a graduating high school senior with a 2.5 GPA or better with plans to attend a college or university can apply for the scholarship.

How to Apply
Each applicant must download and print out the Application form and then submit the application using the online form below. Below you will find directions on how to complete and upload the application form.
Step 1
Print the Scholarship Application form.

Step 2
The applicant should complete sections 1 through 5 of the Scholarship Application form.
Section 5 includes two essays that the applicant must complete. The applicant must include both essays when submitting the completed application form. You can find directions on how to scan your application form below.
Step 3
The applicant’s recommenders must complete and sign their recommendation letters.
The first letter of reference must be completed by a teacher or school counselor. The second letter of reference must be completed by a church pastor. The letter of reference form must be completed by a person whose relationship to the applicant meets one of the criteria below, who has known the applicant for at least one (1) year, and who can attest to the applicant’s character, leadership, and service.
The recommendation letters must be signed by the recommenders.
Step 4
Scan the completed application form with your phone or another device.
In order to upload the completed application form you must convert the physical paper form to a PDF. You can use a smartphone or tablet to take a photos of the form. As you are taking the photo your device should recognize the form as a document allowing you to save the photo as a PDF.
You will need to scan all pages of the letter of reference form including both essays from section 5 and both recommendation letters.

iOS iPhone

After scanning the each page you should have the option to take another photo to scan the next page until all pages are scanned before saving the document.
Android Phones
Most phones will automatically detect you are trying to scan a document if you simply attempt to take a photo of the form. While pointing the device at the form you should be prompted with the option to save the photo as a document.

Step 5
Upload the completed Application form*
The applicant must complete and submit the application form using the online form below. Use the Upload Application Form field to upload a PDF of the application form.
*Please note the applicant must provide two completed recommendation letters with their application.
